The Lighting & Sound Supervisor collaborates with the Director of Production on the planning and oversight of all aspects of the day to day production and presentation of Studio Theatre and other programming by Studio Theatre or on Studio’s premises. This position is an integral part of Studio’s Production Department working closely with the Production Management team and Technical Director and is the direct supervisor for two apprentices and overhire as necessary. This position is responsible for the maintenance, installation, and operation of theatrical equipment and control consoles in all venues at Studio Theatre for all performances and events. This position will coordinate, collaborate, and work directly with artists, designers, musicians, overhire crews, run crews, and stage managers to present the highest quality shows and events. Hospitality Team Members will be trained to support the entire guest experience operations of Studio Theatre, including ticketing, food service, bartending, merchandising, lobby experience, and management of the audience to ensure that guests are seated correctly, the shows can start on time, and the patron experience is excellent from beginning to end.
