Associate Artistic Director

Studio Theatre seeks a talented Associate Artistic Director to join the team of this 41-year old organization. This person will serve as right-hand to the Artistic Director and manage the day-to-day artistic operations at a busy theatre that produces up to nine productions a season. Among other responsibilities, the Associate AD will direct productions (if appropriate to candidate’s experience and interests), oversee casting operations, participate actively in season planning, act as a primary liaison with visiting directors, scout talent, and collaborate with individuals across the organization to advance Studio’s artistic objectives. While the position may be best suited to theatre directors, we welcome applications from creative producers or other theatre artists. Qualifications: degree in theatre or equivalent professional experience, significant experience as a working artist and/or producer, a track record of managing people and collaborating across disciplines, and artistic taste, talent, and skill.  Download the full description. Manager of Individual Giving

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Manager of Individual Giving will be responsible for the management and successful execution of Studio’s individual giving programs and commensurate benefit fulfillment; oversight of membership processes, procedures, and activities including maintenance of donor management systems and development and execution of cultivation strategies and stewardship events; and the creation of individual giving acquisition campaigns designed to increase support to annual fund. Multimedia Designer

An integral position of Studio Theatre’s Marketing & Communications Department, the Multimedia Designer (MD) is responsible for creating Studio’s marketing, fundraising, and institutional collateral. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the MD will focus on creation of marketing and institutional materials. staff carpenter

The Staff Carpenter will work with the scene shop staff to build, load-in, and strike for up to (11) AEA Studio Theatre productions per year in any of the 4 venues used as performance spaces and maintain scene shop equipment in all venues at Studio Theatre. Other responsibilities as assigned. Download the full description. Hospitality Team Member

Hospitality Team Members will be trained to support the entire guest experience operations of Studio Theatre, including ticketing, food service, bartending, merchandising, lobby experience, and management of the audience to ensure that guests are seated correctly, the shows can start on time, and the patron experience is excellent from beginning to end.
