general manager

Studio Theatre seeks a General Manager (GM) to oversee financial and operational activity at this $5 million theater with 30 full-time employees. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and overseeing a Finance Manager, Facilities Manager, and Information Technology consultants and initiatives, the GM is responsible for managing human, physical, data, and financial resources of the company, and facilitating communication and adherence to best business practices across the organization. 

The GM works closely with the Managing Director and Artistic Director on managing the human resources of the institution, financial planning and responsibility, and overseeing major internal and external projects including facilities maintenance.  The GM serves as a liaison to the Finance, Audit, and Investment Committees of the Board of Trustees. Community engagement manager

The Community Engagement Manager will oversee, coordinate, and manage Studio’s engagement, education, and workforce development programs. As the key point of contact for Studio’s outreach with the community, they will maintain relationships with all our community partners as well as with the DC Collaborative and local DC public schools (with whom we partner for our Student Matinee program). Reporting to the Associate Artistic Director, the Community Engagement Manager will also work cross-departmentally to help connect the work on our stages to the broader community by supporting public programming, developing show-specific partnerships, and increasing awareness of accessibility opportunities.   Download the full position descriptionApply Now

Hospitality Team Member

Hospitality Team Members will be trained to support the entire guest experience operations of Studio Theatre, including ticketing, food service, bartending, merchandising, lobby experience, and management of the audience to ensure that guests are seated correctly, the shows can start on time, and the patron experience is excellent from beginning to end. Full and part time positions are available. Hours are flexible and there are shifts available weekdays during the day, weekday nights and weekends. Apply now
