Subscribers have the option to exchange tickets up to 24 hours before a performance, using our online exchange tool. Exchanges can also be processed via fax, mail, or in person at the Box Office. Special offer subscriptions, like the three-play holiday package, will incur ticket upgrade charges if changing the day of the week. You can always call the Box Office at 202.332.3300 if you have questions about exchanging tickets.
Studio provides a variety of ways for subscribers to learn about the plays, process, and people behind the work on our stages. As a subscriber, you'll receive:
A monthly electronic newsletter highlighting events at Studio and offering behind-the-scenes insight into the work on our stages.
Invitations to our Artists in Conversation Series, disalogues with Studio's actors, directors, and playwrights.
Invitations to our Plays in Context Series, conversations with scholars and community members that explore the themes and context of Studio's plays.
Invitations to PostScript, a new series of candid and invigorating conversations about our Subscription Series, like a book club for plays.
Studio's annual literary magazine that delves into the playwrights, themes, and larger artistic and historical context of each Subscription Series production. Available for just $20.
Subscribers who are unable to use their tickets at the last minute may turn them in as a contribution to Studio Theatre. The value of the donated tickets is tax-deductible and acknowledged by mail. To qualify, you must turn in tickets at least 24 hours before the scheduled performance. Tickets for past performances cannot be considered a donation.
Early in the season, the Box Office is open exclusively to subscribers and donors to exchange, purchase additional tickets, and reserve your complimentary companion tickets.
To thank you for being a same-seat Studio subscriber and to encourage you to introduce the Theatre to potential new subscribers, every full season same-seat subscription receives two complimentary companion tickets per order for a Main Series play per season to introduce a friend to the theatre. These may be reserved by calling the Box Office at 202.332.3300. When you call, we will need the new patrons' mailing and email addresses. Companion seating is subject to availability. Thank you for sharing Studio Theatre with your friends, family, and colleagues!
