You can exchange your tickets up to 24 hours before a performance using our online exchange tool. Subscribers can exchange for free—single ticket buyers pay a $10 per ticket exchange fee.
To exchange your tickets online, log into your account, and view your "Ticket Information". The "Exchange" link will appear next to the performances available to be exchanged. Tickets can be exchanged online beginning at 1pm on the day after they were purchased.
You can also exchange your tickets over the phone by calling the box office at 202.332.3300 or visiting us in person at 1501 14th St NW.
Please note: If you exchange into a more expensive performance or higher-priced seating section, you will be charged the difference in the ticket price. If you exchange into a less expensive performance, a gift certificate for the difference will be issued. Gift certificates can be utilized for future single ticket purchases or exchanges into more expensive performances.
Subscribers who received their tickets by mail can exchange by mail. If you have hard tickets, download and complete our exchange form. Mail this form, along with your torn tickets, to the box office.
Subscribers who have missed their 24-hour deadline to exchange may still be able to see the show on a space-available basis. We cannot guarantee seating once you have missed your scheduled performance date.

Beginning Tuesday, March 17, the Box Office will be open Tuesday – Friday from Noon – 4 p.m. to respond to voicemail and email from patrons.
