GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
Now in its 41st season, Studio looks to honor its history through encouraging a creative culture in which artistry and boldness stem from inclusion, training, stewardship, and the collaborative spirit of the rehearsal room. Every year, Studio serves over 66,000 people, including more than 700 youth and young adults through engagement and education initiatives. Throughout Studio’s four decades, the quality of our work has been recognized by sustained community support, as well as 392 nominations and 72 Helen Hayes Awards for excellence in professional theatre.
FOUNDATION AND CORPORATE OPPORTUNITIES
Increase your institution’s visibility and show civic pride for one of the DC’s premier regional theatres by partnering with Studio. Our institutional partners demonstrate a commitment to civic leadership and gain access to Studio’s unique opportunities for logo exposure, client entertainment, and employee engagement. With every opportunity, Studio will customize a package to fit your needs and priorities.
WAYS TO BECOME INVOLVED
Corporate, foundation, and public partnerships help to support outstanding theatre experiences for Washington DC’s diverse audiences. The generosity of DC’s philanthropic community ensures that Studio remains a fixture of DC’s world-class cultural landscape.
Corporate Sponsorships are available to partner with Studio Theatre to cultivate client relationships or reward employees, while supporting live theatre. Opportunities are available for full theatrical production sponsorship, general operating or program sponsorship, and event underwriting.
We can create a custom benefits package that will highlight your commitment to a flourishing cultural scene, grow your business within the DC community, and offer numerous hospitality and entertainment opportunities.
Education is a core component of our mission, and with programs for students and adults alike, our goal is to enrich our community with robust programming.
Through the Student Matinee program, Studio hosts between 400 and 500 DC public and public charter high school students for dedicated performances over the season.
Our Apprentice and Intern Program
allows emerging artists to learn from some of the most talented professionals in the nation and experience what it takes to pursue a successful career in professional theatre.
Studio also provides a wide variety of Public Programming
designed to engage audiences and community members before, during, and after the productions. We provide post-show talk backs with artists, panel discussions with luminaries and experts in their fields, and PostScript discussions with Studio’s literary staff.
