It’s cold outside—give yourself something to look forward to. Join Friends With Benefits at Studio on Saturday, February 24 for bottomless mimosas, brunch and a matinee performance of Sarah DeLappe’s Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, The Wolves.
On Thursday, November 30, 2017, Studio Theatre hosted our Annual Benefit, supporting Studio R&D, our incubator program for new play development. This year, we celebrated with an exclusive performance of Curve of Departure, and heard from the dynamic duo behind the production, playwright Rachel Bonds and director Mike Donahue, in conversation with Artistic Director David Muse about this moving and timely piece. Thank you to our sponsors and ticket buyers for making the night a success.
The 3rd Annual Taste of Studio was held on Saturday, August 5, 2017. This neighborhood celebration features bites and sips from the neighborhood’s best bars and eateries, as well as unique theatrical elements, mini Acting Conservatory workshops, and Studio Flea—our annual garage sale. And this year, Studio opens its doors to more community partners than ever before to highlight all the arts, culture, and engagement of Washington DC. All proceeds from Taste of Studio go to support the Theatre’s community engagement initiatives.
Tickets to Studio Theatre’s opening night performances and post-show receptions are an exclusive benefit for our Inside Studio members. This benefit includes the chance to celebrate Studio Theatre’s Subscriptions Series, Lab, and Special Event productions with the cast. It also provides supporters with the exciting opportunity to meet and mingle with the production’s artistic team at the post-show reception. For more information on Inside Studio benefits, click here.
