Studio Theatre regularly hires part-time technicians and production staff to support our shows throughout the season. If you have experience in theatrical production and are interested in on-call or project-based work, we invite you to submit your résumé for consideration.
By applying through this general posting, you’ll be considered for a range of backstage and technical positions, including roles in lighting, sound, carpentry, paint, props, and stage management.
Rates are between $19.5 and $25/hour based on duties and experience. Hours vary depending on the show and event schedule and include evening, night, and weekend hours. There is no guarantee of hours and all positions are at-will. All work is performed on-site at Studio’s main building, 1501 14th Street NW. Studio Theatre complies with the DC Accrued Sick and Safe Leave Act.
