Q. What should I do if I'm going to miss my scheduled performance?
A. Subscribers have the benefit of exchanging tickets FREE of charge and reserving new seats up to 24 hours before their regularly scheduled show.* Exchanges can be done by fax, mail or in-person at the Box Office.

Fill out an Exchange Form provided with your tickets in your subscription packet or download one now. () Please, don't forget to fill out your Patron ID number.
Tear your current tickets and make a photocopy of them.
Fax the exchange form and the copy of the torn tickets to the Box Office at 202-332-1187.
Mail: (NOTE: This is not a good option if your show is only 1 week away)

Mail the form and your tickets to the Box Office in a return envelope (also included in your subscription packet).
The new tickets will be held for you at the Box Office unless you enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope to receive your new tickets in the mail.

Bring your tickets to the Box Office for an exchange, except within one hour of a performance time. *Exchanges are subject to availability. The Studio Theatre cannot guarantee that the same seats will be available on another night. Exchanges to a more expensive night or section will require an upgrade fee. Please note that Orchestra seats may be substituted for Center Orchestra and padded removable chairs may be substituted for fixed seats.
Q. Where is my Patron ID number located on my ticket?
A. The Patron ID number is located in the top left hand corner of the ticket stub. It is a 6, 7 or 8-digit number.

Q. During what times can I exchange my tickets at the Box Office?
A. Subscribers can exchange tickets in-person at the Box Office, except within one hour of a performance time.
The Box Office hours during performance weeks are as follows:
Monday and Tuesday, 10:00am - 6:00pm
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 10:00am - 7:00pm
Saturday, 10:00am - 1:00pm and 3:00pm - 7:00pm
Sunday, 12:00pm - 1:00pm and 3:00pm - 6:00pm
The Box Office hours during non-performance weeks are as follows:
Monday through Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm
Q. Are there any days we can't exchange tickets into?
A. The Studio Theatre does not have performances on Mondays and only a limited number of Tuesdays. The first Sunday Evening of each show is reserved for the Press Opening. The third Tuesday evening of each show is reserved for a special Pay-What-you-Can performance.
Q. What if I've already exchanged my tickets and need to exchange again?
A. You should call the Box Office directly at 202-332-3300. Inform them that you have already exchanged your tickets, which should be on hold at the Box Office and you need to exchange them again for a different performance date. The Box Office will be able to make this exchange for you over the phone. NOTE: Subscribers can exchange up to two times for each show FREE of charge, but a $5 processing fee is added for further exchanges.
Q. What if I missed my show and forgot to exchange my tickets?
A. If you realize that you've missed the 24-hour notice deadline to exchange your tickets, you can still see the show! You can see the play on a seating available basis:
Call the Box Office on the day of your scheduled show to let us know you won't be attending.
On the day of the performance that you wish to attend in lieu of your original date, call the Box Office to check seating availability. Please understand that we are not able to reassign you seats at this time, but can give you an idea as to availability at curtain time.
Bring your original tickets to the Box Office at least a 1/2-hour before curtain time. You will be issued a seating pass. Once all the ticketed patrons are seated, you will be seated in any remaining empty seats on a space-available basis.
Q. What if I lost my tickets?
A. If you lose your subscription tickets, please call the Subscription Services Manager directly at 202-232-7267. If you misplace your tickets on the day of your show, please call the Box Office directly at 202-332-3300 and ask to have them reprinted.

Q. Where can I park?
A. The Studio Theatre recommends the following parking options*:
DISCOUNTED RATE: Colonial Parking garage on P Street, NW between 16th and 17th Streets, 3 blocks from the Theatre. Studio Theatre patrons can park there for $5.
Washington Plaza Hotel at 10 Thomas Circle, NW at 14th and M Streets, 2 blocks from the Theatre, has a self-park garage. Studio Theatre patrons can park there for $5. Show your Studio Theatre ticket stub when leaving the parking lot to receive the discount. The full-rate is a $15 fixed charge without a ticket stub.
Wyndham Washington Hotel at 1400 M Street, NW, 2 ½ blocks from the Theatre, has a valet parking garage. Studio Theatre patrons can park there for $8. Show your Studio Theatre ticket stub when picking up your car to receive the discount. The full-rate is a $12 fixed charge without a ticket stub.
