DC Hip Hop Theater Festival
Founded in 2000, The Hip-Hop Theater Festival
continues to invigorate the fields of theater and Hip-Hop by: nurturing the
creation of innovative work within the Hip-Hop aesthetic; presenting and
touring American and international artists whose work addresses the issues
relevant to the Hip-Hop generation; and serving young, urban communities
through outreach and education that celebrates contemporary language and
culture.
The Studio Theatre is proud to partner with the Hip
Hop Theater Festival for 7 performances over 4 exciting nights.
We are signing up volunteer ushers for all

We are looking for a few extra hands to help us with
our annual garage sale. We want to purge furniture and props from this
season to make way for our exciting 2008-09 Season!
PRE-GARAGE SALE: We will be working during the day,
10am-6pm July 28 - Aug 1.
DAY OF: We start working 8am on Saturday August 2,
2008.

See FRINGE Shows for FREE!
The Studio Theatre is an official venue for 5 Fringe
shows.
There are LOTS of performances and
since these are NOT Studio Theatre shows,
there are NO VOLUNTEERS CURRENTLY SCHEDULED.
The Capitol Fringe Festival is having trouble
recruiting volunteers to usher for these performances, and has asked for our
help staffing.
They 6 people for each of the 20 performances over
the two weeks of the Fringe Festival . We need your help!
That is 120 volunteers total!
Volunteers receive one free ticket voucher for every
shift that they work. The voucher is good for ANY Fringe show at ANY time.
Work five times and receive a free button, a $5
value, that is required for admission to Fringe shows this year. They also
get a free Fringe t-shirt.
Due to the amount of performances we are unable to
code email links for each shift. Below is a list of when volunteers are
needed. Simply copy the performance into the subject line of an email to
usher at studiotheatre.org.

stuff and mail subscription packets to our 5000 subscribers.
There will be 6 four-hour shifts
