Using plays from The Studio Theatre's season, the class explores how
plays are structured, how characters are constructed, and how
playwrights use style to communicate their themes.

This fall, the class will focus on:

Athol Fugard's THE ROAD TO MECCA,
Doug Wright's GREY GARDENS (comparing the musical to the cult film),
Conor McPherson's THE SEAFARER,
David Harrower's BLACKBIRD, and
Daniel MacIvor's A BEAUTIFUL VIEW,
as well as some classics of the theatre canon.

Come explore great plays and sharpen your theatre-going mind!
