This one-night-only post-show discussion will feature journalists and photographers whose experience covering conflict echoes those of the characters in the play. This candid conversation will consider the events of the play, their relation to current social and political realities working for the media, and the panelists’ personal reflections on the ways questions of love, guilt, family, and responsibility underlie even our most trenchant personal beliefs.

The event will be hosted by Scott Thuman, Senior Political Reporter and anchor covering the White House and Capitol Hill for ABC7 News and News Channel 8.

Panelists

Bassam Sebti – An Iraqi journalist and editor, a former Baghdad correspondent for The Washington Post and Arabic Editor for the International Center for Journalists in DC.

Dayna Smith – Award-winning photojournalist, former Washington Post photographer,  President of ImageSmith Media, and consultant to Time Stands Still rehearsals.
