Driven by a profound dedication to nurturing talent, Joy Zinoman, the Director of Curriculum, created the core acting curriculum and trained the core acting teachers of The Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory. Her continued commitment to high value and to the pursuit of excellence was most recently recognized with the 2009 Mayor’s Award for Visionary Leadership in the Arts.

Comprising of a three-year integrated sequential study of acting, the core acting courses are offered three semesters a year, beginning in September, February and June. Students can begin their study during any of the three semesters.
