Marketing Director/Associate Communications Director
The Studio Theatre, in the heart of the revitalized 14th Street Corridor, is Washington's premier theatre for contemporary theatre, with an unparalleled reputation for superb artistry. Studio is seeking an experienced Marketing Director/Associate Communications Director to join the team of this 35-year-old not-for-profit organization.

The Marketing Director/Associate Communications Director reports directly to the Director of Communications, and the Managing Director and Artistic Director of the Theatre. The Marketing Director/Associate Communications Director develops and implements successful marketing strategies for The Studio Theatre, The Studio 2ndStage, and Special Event productions through campaigns to include advertising in print, on the internet and radio, via email and with direct mail campaigns.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Develop strategy and planning of annual subscription campaigns: renewals and new subscriber acquisition, including direct mail strategy and planning, telemarketing and e-marketing
• Develop advertising and marketing campaigns for single ticket sales of all productions
• Implement budgeting plans for Subscriptions and Marketing in concert with Director of Communications
• Coordinate with graphic designers, printers, and mail houses on subscriptions and marketing materials
• Ensure timely and accurate booking of advertising
• Other duties as assigned within the Communications Department
• Supervise the Subscriptions Manager

PART TIME POSITIONS
Assistant House Manager
The Studio Theatre seeks an individual available for Tuesday and Wednesday evenings that will assist with all House Management operations during the running of shows, and other shifts as necessary. The AHM works shows and special events under the direct supervision of the House Manager and the Audience Services Manager. The AHM is generally agreed to work an entire season.
The AHM assists the Audience Services Manager or House Manager/Volunteer Coordinator with the training of ushers, management of concessions, and the starting of the show and the running of special events (all front of house duties).. The AHM will assist the Audience Services Manager and House Manager/Volunteer Coordinator with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications needed:
• Awareness of priorities of starting a show
• Quickness and ability to multitask
• Customer service skills
• Leader/Manager of volunteers
• Great communication skills
• Ability to handle time sensitive, stressful environments

Box Office Assistant
The Studio Theatre seeks an individual available for Sunday afternoons and evenings that will assist with all box office operations during the running of shows, and other shifts as necessary. Operations include ticket sales and superior customer service at will-call windows and on the phones, accurate reporting of daily sales, subscription sales, and ticket exchanges. Seeking commitment through August 2012 at minimum. Will report to the Director of Ticket Operations and the Box Office Manager on duty.
Qualifications needed:
• A responsible and detail-oriented mindset.
• Comfort with basic multi-tasking.
• Experience in customer service.
• Familiarity with Windows operating system.
• Tessitura ticket software experience a plus.

Subscription Sales Telemarketers - Outbound
Join The Studio Theatre's subscription telemarketing campaign. Excellent earning potential in a fun, fast-paced atmosphere. Comfort selling over the phones and meeting sales quotas required. Evening and weekend hours: Mon – Thurs, 6:00pm – 9:00pm; Sat 10:30am – 2:30pm; Sun 5:00pm – 9:00pm – associates work at least 4 of the 6 shifts with at least one weekend shift. Limited day shifts may also be available. Hourly base plus commission, bonuses and free tickets to the shows.
