Transition Information

Joy Zinoman, the Founding Artistic Director, has announced that she will retire from The Studio Theatre on September 1, 2010. Her departure will come at the end of the 2009-2010 season, after an astonishing 35 years at the helm of The Studio Theatre and The Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory. The decision was initially announced to the staff and board members at the Annual Retreat four years ago. Zinoman will continue as the Director of Curriculum and as Master Teacher, training new instructors and leading classes at The Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory.
